Are Your Emotions The Culprit?

Have you ever wondered why it is that when you get angry or stressed your body tenses up and gets tight all over? Have you ever wondered why you feel butterflies in your stomach when you get nervous? Have you ever wondered why you feel a lump in your throat when you feel a shock or fright?

How is it that we can physically feel our feelings?

One thing that often goes overlooked in modern healthcare is the impact that emotions have on our bodies and health. As we often experience the physical manifestations that come along with our ever-changing emotional states, emotions play a huge part in our bodily function and health. When we experience an emotion, our body produces hormones and chemicals that lead to physical changes in our body, in order for it to cope with the reality that produced these emotions. These are often negative chemicals released into the body that add stress and pressure to the body systems. This is a natural phenomenon that was designed to help us survive throughout history, such as when being faced with a wild animal, or a soldiers’ will to survive on the battlefield.

However, in our modern world, we are continually bombarded with stressors that trigger these emotional reactions in our body, much more so that our body was designed for. Continual emotional stressors from work, family, general stress, depression, anger, resentment, sadness, grief, and an endless degree of others lead to a perpetual flood of chemicals in the body in order for it to deal with the perceived threat that these emotions pose. These chemicals have a negative effect on the body and lead to its degeneration, suppressed immune function, altered cellular activity, increased stress, increased depression, muscle tightness, fatigue, and on and on the list goes of negative physical effects.

Our body is designed to experience these emotional alterations then return to its normal state, after the experience that created them has been resolved. However, with the continual emotional stimulation in our modern world, our body is often not allowed the time or energy to process these emotions as being resolved. This leads to these emotions remaining unprocessed by the brain and essentially still active in the body. We may not recognize this, but, subconsciously, these emotional stressors are still present and wreaking havoc on the body. Because of this, it is critical for your health and wellbeing to allow your body to fully process and let go of these held on to emotions. This will allow for decreased stress on your body and an improved physical environment for healing within.

At The Healthy Place we utilize a technique called Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) that uses manual muscle testing to determine the emotions that are active stressors to your subconscious body. We then go through a specific protocol to allow your body to bring these subconscious emotions to the forefront of your mind and work through them. This allows your body an opportunity to neurologically accept and release these emotions and break the destructive cycle that they produce. This allows for a healthier and happier existence with improved physical, mental, and emotional health. We believe that this is one of the most critical aspects of overall health, and we graciously provide our support for you in this area.

In Health and Prosperity, See You Soon!
